<description>I fail to see why the cost of living in a current country of residence of an expat should have any bearing whatsoever, on the justification for, or against the freezing of pensions for that individual..

I also fail to see why an argument that, no agreement with the Government of the country of residence of that expat should have any bearing on the type of pension allocated.

The contributions were made many years ago,The interest was earned but is now being stolen from the beneficiaries of a scheme which we were not allowed to opt out of.

This is not only unfair, it is criminal! No private Superannuation company would be allowed to do this.

As far as I can judge, being a recipient of a frozen pension since 2002 in Australia, the UK Government do it as a cost saving exercise against the soft targets of this world, the Elderly.

It is deplorable that, they should do this to people in their declining years, with few means of defence, against such blatant robbery! It is a Criminal act..

How can we fight back?

I believe the European courts will not support anything which will embarrass the UK government, so the 2nd September appeal will fail and they will close the door for years.

To hell with discrimination, that leaves it open to challenge.

We should bring a criminal action for misappropriation of monies on a grand scale. But, against who?

Who is the Government representative?

Who brings the charge?
